For the third year in a row, we have partnered with Planet’s in-house design team and MVS to deliver a full-scale visual identity solution for Planet’s annual user conference, Explore.

To make the most of the Explore 21 virtual format and to bridge knowledge and inspire solutions that capture daily global change and help solve the world’s most pressing challenges, Planet has made global connection its theme for Explore 21.
DESIGING A DYNAMIC IDENTITY SYSTEM
Seeing the world change
To build a visual metaphor representing global connection, we have used Planet’s logo circle symbol as the core identity device. The interlocking circle system dynamically moves across the screens, depicting our interconnected world’s constant state of flux.
